Truckbodies (Pty) Ltd was established in 1968. Today it is one of the leading manufacturers and repairers of loadbodies and trailers. The range includes all types of steel loadbodies such as dropsides, platforms, cargo vanbodies, tippers and livestock carriers, manufactured in mild steel, speciality steels, alloy, 3CR12 and stainless. Our GRP (Fibreglass) division manufactures a full range of dry freight, insulated, refrigerated and carcass carrier loadbodies catering for the hygienic transport of a variety of food products. Trailers from small custom made box trailers to 15m semi-trailers and drawbar trailers in all body configurations are also manufactured to order. Steel canopies to specific design and custom made loadbodies such as a GIG Rigs are also are included in our product range. Truckbodies in addition has a repair division where repairs, modifications and refurbishing is performed.
